John Raymond Barraza, III commissioned as Second Lieutenant

John Raymond Barraza, III, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Barraza, Jr. of Santa Paula, graduated December 17, 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona in Tucson. From there he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. In August of 2002 he graduated from USMC Officer’s Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia, where he was in the top 20 of his class.
