The 2005 Santa Paula High School football team is preparing for another season, this year competing in the Tri-Valley League.
The players and staff have been working since the start of the year preparing for this new season.“Last year we called on our community and you responded by contributing to one of our most successful sponsorship drives, said Head Coach Ed Gomez. “This community of business owners, alumni and family members combined to raise over $8,000 for the program. Without your support, we would not be able to offer our kids the type of program they deserve.”Gomez is asking previous sponsors to renew their sponsorship and inviting new sponsors to join the effort. The sponsorship program helps defray the costs of equipment and activities for more than 100 athletes who are expected to participate in the program.A full player or position sponsorship costs $250. Sponsors may purchase full or partial sponsorships ($62.50). Each player or position may have up to four sponsors.
