Celebration of Latino Agricultural Heritage

HALC believes that the professional contribution made by Latinos is significant to sustaining agriculture in Ventura County. Last Saturday an event to recognize and celebrate the Latino agricultural worker was held. The program showcased traditional Latino art, music, dance, and theatrical performances by the Inlakech Cultural Arts Center (pictured above) and The Santa Paula High School Academy. The Hansen Ag Learning Center is located 14292 W. Telegraph Rd. Santa Paula, CA 93060. The program was in collaboration with Santa Paula Latino Town Hall, De Colores Art Group, and the Santa Paula Family Resource Center.
