Frosh win, JV has very close game against Pacifica

The Cardinal frosh boys beat Pacifica 47-40 Monday evening.
Taylor Casas led the way for Santa Paula, scoring 25 points. Alex Velasquez had 8 and Francisco DeJesus had 7 points for the frosh Cards.Santa Paula led for the entire game, although Pacifica came with 2 points at the half.The Cardinal JV squad got off to a slow start and ended up with a 40-37 loss. The Cardinal JV trailed in the first half but cut into the Pacifica lead in the second half, almost pulling off a win. Cesar Correa led for Santa Paula with 10 points. Isaac Ek had 7 and Antonio Rios followed with 6 points.
