The JV Lady Cards beat the visiting Malibu girls last week, 41-37. The Lady Cardinals extended their winning streak to three games with a thrilling come from behind overtime win against Malibu.  Every Santa Paula player scored at lease 4 points but it was Angelica Terrazas who stole the show by scoring 9 of her team high 13 points in the last quarter and overtime to seal the Victory. Ana Garcia played another strong game inside and Lindsay Lippert was the defensive stopper.  Other players contributing to the victory were Dolores Rojas (7 points) Janessa Tubbs (5 points) and Laura Zacarias (4 points and 5 rebounds).  Santa Paula’s league record is now 3 wins and 1 lost.  Their next game is against Villanova this Thursday at home.
