Cheryl Winkler Baudizzon and James Maurice Johnston are announcing their engagement and plans to be married. James, of Michigan, proposed to Cheryl on Christmas Eve 2010, writing “Will you marry me” in the deep snow of Wisconsin, surrounded by family.

Ms. Baudizzon is the daughter of Mary Winkler of Aztec, New Mexico. Mr. Johnston is the son of Laureta Waymaster of Clawson, Michigan.
