May 26 event celebrates new hope for homeless pets

Join in the celebration festivities on May 26, a great day for lost or abandoned pets, with the Grand Opening of S.P.A.R.C., the brand new Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center and the first shelter in Ventura County with a “no kill” policy which assures another chance for a new life with a loving family to pets who find themselves homeless.

Many dedicated folks have devoted countless hours toward making this areality for the community. Come for the official ribbon cutting ceremony at noon and register for your chance on the many door prizes.

Be entertained by the dog agility demonstrations and visit the informational booths. Meet TV and movie actress Danielle Harris, known for her roles in such thrillers as “The Victim”, “Devil’s Night” and  “Cornered", who be making a special appearance in support of S.P.A.R.C. There’ll be a jolly jump and a face painter for the kids, and some hot foods and sweet snacks for all. Your pets are invited along for the low cost vaccination clinic , their new Santa Paula animal  license and a dog behavior class. 

Tour the new facility and take advantage of your opportunity to help support S.P.A.R.C.’s  humanitarian effort by participating in the Silent Auction of many great items.

Be a part of this history making event on Saturday May 26 from 12 - 4:00. Find Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center at 705. E. Santa Barbara Street in Santa Paula. Take the Palm Avenue exit off the 126 to Santa Barbara Street and turn right to the celebration.
