Joe Soto, Pastor of Cornerstone Church, was born and raised in Santa Paula and graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1973. He is married to Julie Soto and they have two adult children.Pastor Soto has been preaching for 10 years and was ordained in 14 months ago. Approximately 15 years ago he felt God was calling him into the ministry. He had originally planned to go to Ventura but doors opened for him to be in Santa Paula. He feels particularly led to raise up leaders who will take care of the people. He feels as those most people are like sheep without a shepherd and that families are in need of leadership.His favorite book is the Bible and his favorite author is Brother Haggard. His secular job is in the maintenance department of College Heights Baptist Church School where he is also the PE coach. His hobbies are basketball and reading.
