SPHS King and Cardinal Cutie

The Santa Paula Cardinal Homecoming King and Cutie were presented during halftime at last week’s football game. Simon Mata was named as Cardinal King and Chloe Venegas was selected as Cardinal Cutie. Being Cardinal Cutie runs in the family. Chloe’s mother, Donna Johnson was the Cutie for 1976-77. The following year it was Evon Bustillos and the next year was Shelly Pulido, both Donna’s cousins, and then in the ‘94-’95 school year her cousin Ashley Magdaleno was selected.
