James Farley hosting National Day of Prayer breakfast May 6th

James Farley, well-known County criminal defense lawyer, will host the fourth annual National Day of Prayer Community Breakfast on Thursday, May 6 at the Santa Paula Community Center. Farley serves as a deacon at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Ventura and has spent most of his career working with people in the legal system. He has a heart for those who desire to change their lives. Faustino Rico, Craig Lorick, and Pam Scott will share their stories of life on both sides of the prison walls.Father Charles Lueras will give the invocation. The blessing of the pastors will be given by Dan McGranahan..The third speaker is Chaplain Pam Scott, who serves as chaplain in women’s prison. She tells the story of hopelessness and hope. It will encourage everyone.Worship time begins at 6:30 a.m. led by the Worship Team at Citrus Valley Christian Church and the popular musical group Inspirit. The morning will include a catered breakfast and prayers will be offered by local lay leaders. Sponsorships are also available. The program is on Thursday, May 6 at 7 a.m. at the Community Center. The event is sponsored by the SPIRIT of Santa Paula®.
