Varsity boys win second league game

The Santa Paula varsity boys took their second Frontier League game in a row by defeating Nordhoff Tuesday night 48-39.
The first half was a virtual tie with the Cards leading by one point at the half buzzer. Santa Paula came back in the second half and jumped ahead to take the win.Andrew Carrera led the Cardinal scoring with 25 points. He had 2 assists and 5 rebounds. Chepe Lara was held to only 8 points and 7 rebounds. Daniel Kolbeck had 6 points and 4 rebounds. Johnny Carrillo had 4 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds. Eddie Marin shot 3 points and had 1 rebound. Ben Kolbeck had 2 points, 1 assist and 2 rebounds.Santa Paula now has a 2-0 league record. They take on Santa Clara at home tonight at 7:00 p.m.
