Summer football takes a mandatory break until mid-August

The Cardinal football summer program is now in it’s annual “Dead Period,” where no official practice is allowed under CIF rules. They’ll resume practice on Monday, August 14 until September 1 when they have their first scrimmage of the season at Golden Valley High School.
