Santa Paula VFW Pays Tribute to Pearl Harbor at CLU Event

Nine members of the Santa Paula Mercer-Prieto VFW Post 2043 were on hand at California Lutheran University to pay tribute to the memory of the attack on Pearl Harbor. More than 250 guests gathered in CLU’s Samuelson Chapel on Dec. 7 to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the attack on the American Pacific Fleet. The ceremony included a video presentation, a swing dance performance and the first hand accounts of two Pearl Harbor survivors. Santa Paula’s veterans were there to introduce the program with a presentation of the colors.
