Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Multi-purpose Room, 1911 Williams Dr., Oxnard. The Board does not meet in July, August or December.Individuals interested in contributing to improving the quality of life in Ventura County are encouraged to contact Long’s office. Third District Supervisor Kathy Long currently has openings on the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Commission. This commission appointment requires residency in the Third District, which covers Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Southeast Oxnard, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Piru, and Lockwood Valley.Appointment to the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Commission provides the members with the opportunity to advise County staff and community-based service providers on the needs and quality of services received through the County programs.
