The University of California Hansen Agricultural Center is now open to the public one Wednesday and Saturday each month.
The University of California Hansen Agricultural Center is now open to the public one Wednesday and Saturday each month.Saturdays include self-guided tours of farm, gardens, and the first floor of the historic Queen Anne home located on the property, children’s story time, craft activity for all ages, UC Master Gardener plant sale, and garden education programs.Wednesday events include self-guided tours of farm, gardens, and garden education programs.The Garden Resource Library will be open; however, there will be no house tours. Saturday at the Farm-9 a.m. to Noon. September 29- “School Garden Workshop” targets those working with school and youth gardening projects. 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. $15/person. November 3-”Making Holiday Wreaths” 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., $10/person.Space is limited, reservations required. Call 662-6948 to register.Wednesday at the Farm, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. September 26th- Junior Master Gardener Showcase, free. October 3rd, “Fall Vegetable Gardens”, free.
