Louis Wagner Jr. Louis Wagner Jr., passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, after a brief illness.He was born on December 24, 1917, in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Santa Paula at the age of two. He graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1936, and in 1941 married his great love Monnah Marie Barmore. Due to WWII he moved to Connersville, Indiana, where he taught aircraft assembly by day, and was an inspector at the same factory by night. In 1943, he became the proud father of his daughter, Linda.In 1945, Lou and his family came back to Santa Paula where he eventually went to work for the State Improvement Company until 1963, when he started his own company, Wagner-Holmer, with his partner Don Holmer. Lou was a lifetime member of the Lions Club and served as President twice, as well as having held many other offices. He decided to retire in 1993, and turned the business over to his grandson, Llyod Bell.
He leaves his sister, Josephine Forrler, his daughter, Linda Bell, his two nieces, Barbara Forrler Mcleod and Kathy Forrler, his nephew Earl Forrler Jr., grandson Llyod (Leisa) Bell, granddaughter Tammy Bell; and his four great-grandchildren, Amber Patton, Daniel Patton, Phillip Bell, and Nannah Dehner.
