12-Under All Stars team qualifies for State Championship tournament

The Santa Paula ASA Softball 12-Under All Star team has qualified for the Southern California ASA “B” State Championship Tournament to be held July 10, 11 and 12 in Lancaster.
This is the first Santa Paula girl’s softball team to make it to the state games in this division.The girls started out with a loss to the Hart Gold team, 5-0. But, they came back to win four consecutive games the following day. They beat Hart Silver 8-2, WAGS Gold 6-0, Northridge Gold 8-2 and El Rio 12-1. They lost their final game against Moorpark, 3-2.
