Local racer holds ANRA points lead

Local drag racer Charlie Whittaker recently returned from the A.N.R.A. Summer Nationals at the Fomoso Raceway in Bakersfield, making it to the third final round in a row and retaining the points lead in D/Gas. He has one race remaining next month for the championship. Whittaker has also been invited to race on the Pink-All-Out TV show September 11-12 at the Fomoso track. The race will be recorded live for airing on the Speed Channel Thanksgiving weekend. This is expected to be the biggest event ever held at Fomoso.
