Girls’ soccer teams beat Bishop Diego

    The Lady Cardinal varsity soccer team out shot Bishop Diego Tuesday, 2-1 in the first Frontier League match of the season.

    Both Santa Paula goals were scored by Taylor Alvarado at the 15th and 25th minute of the first half.  Assisting with the goals were Lupita Magana and Yuliana Garcia.

    The Santa Paula varsity has an overall record of 6-3 and a league record of 1-0.

    The JV Cards also won their game, shutting out Bishop 4-0.
