Cal West Real Estate to hold 14th Annual Parking Lot Sale

Jim Garfield, Broker of Cal West Real Estate, has announced that the proceeds of their 14th annual parking lot sale will go to benefit Meal On Wheels.
This year’s sale will be held on Saturday, June 5th starting at 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Gordon Welsh, president of Meals of Wheels, said, “The delivery of meals to some is the only meal they may get that day. Also, the person who delivers the meals may be the only person that the shut-in sees on a regular basis. We are more than happy to have the Cal West agents designating our organization to receive the funds from the sale, and hope the public supports this worthwhile endeavor by Cal West Real Estate.”
Every year the real estate agents at Cal West gather donations of furniture, clothing and other fine items to offer to the public and to raise funds for a charity of their choice. This year the storage area is already full, and the hope is to make this one of the largest sales ever.
Garfield said, “We encourage everyone to go through their closets, garages and storage areas and clean them out of unwanted or unused items and donate them to the sale. We will only be able to take items starting on Monday, June 1st and continue until the sale day. Any large items should be delivered the morning of the sale.
“A new twist has been added this year. We are encouraging you to go through your Christmas decorations and pull out those things you no longer use and bring them to the Cal West office during the week of the sale. Then come back to the sale and find someone else’s items with which to change the decorations in your home.
“Once again, we are looking forward to the sale and again we thank all who are so generous with their donations.”
