ASPIRE program visits Limoneira Ranch

On April 7th and 14th, the third grade students from the ASPIRE After School Program went on a tour to Limoneira Ranch. Mary Maranville, Environmental Education Outreach Coordinator, from the Ventura County Resource Conservation District and Camille Grove, Limoniera Telemarketer Assistant, educated the students on natural resources, agriculture and sustainability. The tour consisted of: the lemon orchard, solar orchard and packing house.  The ASPIRE Program would like to thank Limoneira Company for donating the transportation and the tour.
