Santa Paula High School football gets underway later today with a scrimmage at Oxnard High

The Cardinal JV and Varsity are in their final week of practice before their first time out this season.  They have a scrimmage today at Oxnard High School. The JV takes the field at 4:30 p.m. and the Varsity goes at it starting at 6:00 p.m.

Pre-season action starts next Friday as Santa Paula plays host to Fredrick Douglas Academy.  This will only feature the Varsity.  Game time is 7:30 p.m.
