SPHS boys’ basketball teams get first trial in scrimmage with St. Bonnie

The Cardinal frosh, JV and varsity basketball teams went head-to-head in a scrimmage last week.

This was the first time out in the winter season for the Cards and they held their own on the court.  Since it was a scrimmage, scores were not kept, but it appeared that the Cardinals were staying in the game.

The Cards are playing away games until their first home contest on December 12, when they host Fillmore.  They play at Hueneme Friday and the JV and varsity go to Thacher School next Tuesday.  The Fillmore JV and varsity tournaments start December 8.
