The Santa Paula Senior Center, in partnership with the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, is presenting a free financial management workshop at 10 a.m. on April 17.
Open to seniors 60 and older, “Living Within Your Means” will include topics such as working within a budget, clearing debt, setting priorities and more. The speaker, Dr. Somnath Basu, Professor of Finance at California Lutheran University, will provide tools that can be used to ease the stress of planning your finances, no matter what your income situation is.
