Council agenda still being finalized for meeting scheduled September 17

September 14, 2012
Santa Paula City Council

The agenda for Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting was still being finalized at Thursday’s morning press deadline, but Human Resources Specialist Raquel Arreola provided some information on what will be considered by the City Council.

The September 17 meeting is tentatively scheduled to start at 6 p.m. with a closed session, which has not yet been finalized and is subject to change.

At 6:30 p.m. the council will meet in City Hall Council Chambers; the meeting will be broadcast by Time Warner Cable Channel 10 and replayed per scheduled. It will also be live-streamed on the city website and archived for later viewing.

There are no presentations listed so the council will move right to Public Comment, Communications and the Consent Calendar, those items usually considered as not requiring council discussion.

Business will include council approval of a resolution abandoning the public utility easements within the Paseo at 210 W. Santa Barbara St.

The council will also consider an update of the Conditional Use Permit for a rock pile and rock operation, assumed to be the facility located south of Highway 126 behind Harding Park, which is located on the north side of the freeway.

There is also at least one other item that might be included on the finalized agenda.

City Hall is located at 970 E. Ventura Street.
