Lady Cards struggle at Oak Park

The Lady Cardinal varsity softball team traveled to Oak Park for a double-header Monday.
Oak Park took the first game 5-1. Marissa Ramos pitched a complete game with AJ Payne catching. Top batters- Felicia Magana went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, Alyia Alamillo went 1 for 3 with a triple and Miranda Magana went 1 for 3 with the only RBI.
The second game was closer with the Eagles pulling off a 1-0 win in a non-league game. Miranda Magana pitched a complete game ending in the 9th inning with two out. Alyia Alamillo had the only hit for Santa Paula in the 9th inning, The Lady Cardinals had the bases loaded in the top of the 9th but just couldn’t score Overall the pitching was great for both games. The Lady Cardinals faced a very strong Oak Park team.
