Steal Plates Ahead: Invitation or warning?

Santa Paula resident Stan Goldstein said he wasn’t too sure what the message was supposed to be - invitation or warning - when he came upon this sign next to an East Santa Barbara Street construction project. Although Goldstein resisted the invitation to “steal” the steel plates covering roadwork, a byproduct of the new construction, Goldstein could not resist the urge to at least share them.                                                                                                       Photo by Stan Goldstein
