Alan Teague
On September 11, 2014 we lost Alan Teague. Born December 3, 1937, Alan was a life long resident of Ventura County.
Born into a long standing agricultural family, he became very involved with local business as well as many charities. His many passions included community involvement, politics, horses and art. He especially enjoyed being outdoors with his family and many friends.
Whether he was with his beloved Rancheros Visistadores or simply on a horse in the beautiful Ventura County back country riding along Sespe Creek, he found great pleasure in the life’s simple things.
Anyone who met Alan, knew he was a person you could count on in the time of need. Always he looked after other’s interests before his own.
His accomplishments were many, but one would never know that by talking to him. He took particular pride in his family, close friends and community. A man of incomparable character. He is survived by his son Chuck (Laura), granddaughters, Caitlyn and Alison, son Alex, grand children, Shawn, (Marisol), Sabrina (Justin), Kyle and great grandson Desmond as well as close friend Helen Gregorich. Special thanks to the Ventura County Medical Center ER and ICU for their outstanding care.
