Briggs School held their annual “Spring Concert” on May 30th. The theme for the concert this year was “Land That We Love.” It was an evening filled with patriotic songs sung and played with instruments by Briggs students. The evening began with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner followed by the Briggs Choir who sang several numbers including Land That We Love, America Is, and others. Students also entertained by using chimes to play their songs. The Cadet Chimes played Overture, Lauterbacher, Sarasponda and Academic Festival Overture. The Concert Chimes played Jubilate Procession, St. Anthony Chorale, Jacob’s Ladder. The fourth grade class did God Bless America, This Land is Your Land I love you, California. The fifth grade class sang God Bless the USA, Wakko’s America, and Fifty Nifty United States.
