Santa Paula library to host Ventura College student watercolor show

The Blanchard Community Library, 119 N. 8th St., Santa Paula, will host an exhibit of watercolor paintings done by students in Ventura College professor Dorothy Orr’s Plein Air class.

The Blanchard Community Library, 119 N. 8th St., Santa Paula, will host an exhibit of watercolor paintings done by students in Ventura College professor Dorothy Orr’s Plein Air class. Professor Orr’s class is taught at the East Campus in Santa Paula. The exhibition will run from December 15 through January 28, and includes works painted on location throughout Ventura County.The artists’ reception is Thursday, December 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. The library’s hours are Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library is closed on Friday and Sunday. The press and public are welcome.
