Offensively, Larissa Luna had a triple and a single and one RBI. Alyssa Ramirez recorded two singles and an RBI. Summer Ming had a single and an RBI.The JV record now stands at 11-5 overall and 5-1 in league play. The girls play Oaks Christian this week, with the final game at Oaks Christian Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

JV girls beat Oxnard and lose one to Fillmore

The JV softball team won their first game but lost the second last week.
They beat Oxnard in a non-league contest, 9-2 and then lost two Fillmore 5-4.Kaitlyn Heinz led the offense with a triple, a double and a single and two RBIs. Nicole Varela had a double, a single and one RBI. Jaclyn Kohr had a double, a single and an RBI. Nicole Sliger had two singles and one RBI.Kohr recorded nine strikeouts, one walk and allowed no hits for the game.The Fillmore game was a closer contest with Kohr recording four strikeouts, two walks and allowing seven hits.
