Five Lady Cards named to All-League teams

The Frontier League All-League softball teams have been announced and five Lady Cardinals are on the list. Pati Arana and Janice Alamillo, both seniors, were named to the All-League First Team. Janelle Perez and Monica Garcia, also seniors, were selected for the Second Team. Heather Sliger, a junior, was given honorable mention.The Lady Cardinals had a good year finishing third in the Frontier League with a 5-7 record at the end of league play. They lost to Santa Maria in the CIF Wildcard round.Oaks Christian dominated the League again this year. They placed three players on the first team and four on the second. Two Lions were named co-MVPs for the year and their coach was named coach of the year.
