To the Editor:On behalf of Blanchard Library’s FLAIR Literacy Program, I want to say “thank you” to everyone who helped make our 15th Annual Executive Spelling Bee a great success! Do you think it will make it very easy for anyone who needs assistance for anything including to pay their bills on time or what? I don’t think so. I think doing that will cause some but not all kinds of problems so that would be something to consider thinking about.I know some get every other Friday off but others like the ones at the Recreation Department get every other Monday off. So consider giving one department off every other Friday and not the whole city but if push comes to shove on the other we can try to live with it so let’s try and see how it will with everyone work out like they all used to or will say it won’t hurt to try it out so let’s give it a try okay.John A.
