Blue Cross of California will be rolling into our local area towns in mobile vans staffed with outreach personnel offering education and onsite application assistance for California’s Healthy Families or Medi-Cal Programs.

Blue Cross of California will be rolling into our local area towns in mobile vans staffed with outreach personnel offering education and onsite application assistance for California’s Healthy Families or Medi-Cal Programs.John Monahan, senior vice president of Blue Cross of California states that “access to health care and health coverage for children is one of our top priorities.”The vans are traveling information centers. Everything needed to educate a family on the Healthy Families Program along with the ability to complete and submit the program applications is on board the van. “This is going to be a true grassroots effort. We’re not going to wait for uninsured children and their families to seek out information about Healthy Families- we’re going to bring it to them, “ said MonahanThe van will be stationed at the following dates, locations and times at the local Boys & Girls Club sites in Santa Clara Valley.
