Peter John Fonseca Jr. Peter John Fonseca Jr., of Santa Paula, passed away February 11, 2008. Peter was born August 30, 1967 in Ventura, and was a lifelong resident of Ventura County.He worked as a tattoo artist. Peter “Spider” was well known for the love of tattooing, and many had a piece of his art on them throughout Ventura County.Peter is preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Fonseca; father, Peter John Fonseca Sr.; grandparents, Teresa Hurtado and Miguel Hurtado Sr.; son, Peter John Fonseca III; granddaughter, Izabell Armendariz; and brother, Louie Fonseca.He is survived by his daughters, Selina Fonseca and Crystal Fonseca; his sisters, Sharon Enriquez, Yolanda Fonseca and Rosemary Valdes; his grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.Thanks to the family and friends, and special thanks to Funeraria del ángel Stetler Mortuary for all their help.Services will be held Wednesday, February 20 from 5 to 8 p.m., with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the Funeraria del ángel Stetler Mortuary, 128 S. 8th St., Santa Paula, 525-5595.Arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria del ángel Stetler Mortuary, Santa Paula.Robert L. Robert L. Salazar, 73, of Santa Paula, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 following a brief illness. He was born April 23, 1935 in Santa Paula, and was a lifelong Ventura County resident.Mr. Salazar worked as a groundskeeper. He enjoyed playing Lotto, going for long rides, and listening to oldies.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sylvia Salazar; parents Nieves and Sarah Salazar; and sister Rosalinda Beltran. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolores; children, Roberta (Danny) Garcia, Jeri Salazar, Roseanna (Danny) Barreto, Michael Salazar, Sylvia (Mike) Suggs, Diana Salazar (Alex), Maria Denton, and Robert (Pat) Salazar; brother Ronnie Salazar; sister Anna Torhan; grandchildren, Tina, Daniel and Angela Garcia, Richard Villarreal, Priscilla Wray, Johnny and Raelene Rodriguez, Desire Salazar, Daniel, Gabriel and Steven Barreto, Michael Jr. and Melissa Salazar, Ethan Denton, and Cheyenne and Harmony Salazar; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Special thanks to Santa Paula Health Care and Santa Paula Hospital staff, Dr. Carl Constantine and nurse Colleen for taking care of our beloved father.“Will be missed, but never forgotten.”Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 22 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, with Father Charles officiating. Burial will be at Santa Paula Cemetery.
