Leo (Pop) B. Alamillo 

On May 8, 2015 at 5:31 p.m., after a courageous sixteen?month battle against Lymphoma, our Mighty Lord called Leo (Pop) B. Alamillo home. Leo was born on July 28, 1935 to Rosalio and Francisca Betancourt. He worked as a cement mason, in which after forty years and four months, he called it quits to enjoy a well?deserved and restful retirement. He was a proud member of Cement Masons Local No. 600 and a true faithful fan of the San Francisco Giants. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Annie. He is survived by sons Larry (Sandee), Michael (Suzie), and Leo “Tuno” Jr. (Vonda), daughters Tina (Frank) and Robbie (Greg) and youngest son Steve (MaryEllen). He leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Lupe from San Fernando, brothers Chalio from Pacoima, Angel of East Ventura and Chato from Santa Paula. Also left behind are numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, and friends, not to mention his countless godchildren. He rejoins in eternal rest with his deceased siblings brothers, Jose, Manuel, Tony, Lorenzo, and Sebastian and sisters Natalia, Rosa and Trini. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Assisted Home Hospice 2140 Eastman Avenue Suite 203 Ventura, Ca. 93003. The family would also like to extend an extra thank you for the loving and kind care he received at Vista Cove in Santa Paula.

“I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness awaits me, which the Lord, the just judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but to all who have longed for his appearance.”

A rosary will be held Thursday May 14, 2015 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 427 North Oak Street Santa Paula, CA, A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 427 North Oak Street Santa Paula Ca, with Father Tom Dome C.R.I.C. officiating Interment will follow at Santa Paula Cemetery
