William I. Davis II
William I. Davis II, 77, of Santa Paula, passed away on October 25, 2006.Mr. Davis was born January 7, 1929 in Madelia, Minnesota. He moved to California and lived in Woodland Hills, then moved to Ventura County, where he was a 25-year resident.Mr. Davis was a retired auto dealership general manager, having worked for the R. D. Nesen dealership, as well as other dealerships in Los Angeles County.Mr. Davis’s family was the most important interest in his life, followed by reading, politics, fur and feathers friends, and boating. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his mother and father, Donna L. Davis and William I. Davis, Sr. He is survived by his five children, Laura Davis Whitefield, William I. Davis III, John P. Davis, Elizabeth D. Davis and Robert J. Davis; and three sisters, Barbara Mann, Frankie Fritz and Neva Krattenmaker.Services and inurnment for Mr. Davis will be at a later date.Arrangements are under the direction of Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 738 E.
