Santa Paula boys finish year at Ventura Varsity Basketball Tournament

The Cardinal boys’ varsity finished off the year at the Ventura Kiwanis Tournament last week. The boys opened against the host Ventura Cougars, losing 71-36. Ben Kolbeck led the scoring for Santa Paula with 9 points. Because of the New Year holiday, complete tournament results won’t be available until Friday. The boys start Tri-Valley League play January 9, hosting Villanova.
