Louis R. Gabrielsen of Santa Paula receives his 75-year membership recognition in Freemasonry

The presentation was made by the Grand Master of California Masons, Larry Adamson, assisted by the Assistant Grand Lecturer of Area V, Vernon Dandridge. Recognition was made by way of a certificate of accomplishment, a lapel pin, and a personal gift of a replica set of Masonic tools from the Grand Master.
The presentation was also attended by various Masonic Lodge Past Masters, Leo Bartley, Michael Metzler, Donald Olivier, Orvene Carpenter, and Martin Schreffler accompanied by his lady, Marlene. Family present was Lou’s daughter, Pat Alto.Gabrielsen, 94, became a Master Mason in 1934 and is a member of East San Diego Masonic Lodge #561 and a former member of Fillmore Lodge #379 and Fillmore Santa Paula Lodge #291 and is a recipient of the Masonic Hiram Award. He is also a Scottish Rite Mason belonging to Ventura and Santa Barbara Valleys, and a Shriner belonging to Al Malaikah Shriners of Los Angeles and the Fillmore Santa Paula Shrine Club. Gabrielsen, a tax accountant for over 50 years in Fillmore, has lived in Santa Paula since 1961.
