Cardinal varsity drops a game to visiting Santa Clara Saints

The Cardinal varsity baseball team suffered a loss against Santa Clara in a home game Tuesday.
The Saints took the game 12-4. The Cards started off okay, scoring two runs in the 1st and three more in the 3rd inning, but that was it for the Santa Paula bats.
Tony Penuelas started for the Cardinals and took the loss. The top hitter for Santa Paula was Justin Macias who went 3-for-3 with 1 RBI.
