Thousands of people lined Las Posas Road in Camarillo Friday, as the funeral procession for former President Ronald Reagan traveled from Pt. Mugu to the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. About a half-mile away was a large contingent of firefighters from various agencies, including Santa Paula, who gathered to salute the motorcade. The photo above was shot at the intersection of Las Posas and Ventura Boulevard, just before the 101 Freeway. The hearse containing Reagan’s coffin is seen in the inset. The procession got on the freeway and traveled south to Lynn Road, where they exited the freeway. Thousands more people lined the roads leading to the Reagan Library where the former president was laid to rest. The library reopened to the public Monday. Photos by Brian D. Wilson
