Rotary Christmas Basket drive launched

Christmas is not far away and it’s time again for Santa Paula Rotary’s annual Christmas Basket program. Each year, The Rotary Club of Santa Paula members collect and deliver food and toys to at least 400 families and their children in Santa Paula. This year applications to receive a basket may be picked up at the Santa Paula Boy’s & Girls Club from Monday, November 29th through Friday December 3rd between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at 1400 E. Harvard Boulevard. Applications must be made in person and will be accepted only during the first week of December. Applicants must provide proof of residency and income when applying. The baskets will be delivered on the morning of Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, 2004.For more information on donations to the Christmas Basket project, please contact Steve Jump at (805) 278-0920 or Elias Valdes at (805) 525-6792.
