Xtreme soccer team takes Championship

The Santa Paula girls’ Xtreme Soccer Team took a championship in Oxnard recently.
The Xtreme defeated Barsa from Oxnard 5-4. The game was exciting from beginning to end. At the end of the first half Xtreme was trailing 3-1. Maria Prado scored Xtreme’s only first half goal.Midway through the second half Xtreme tied the game with goals from Maricruz Magana and Christine Buenrostro. With just 10 minutes remaining Buenrostro scored again, putting Xtreme ahead. With three minutes on the clock Barsa managed to tie the game. There was only one minute to play when Buenrostro came through with the winning goal.
